BATTLE ROYALE CQC
'Battle Royale CQC' was developed by me from 'Battle Royale Ghost Hotel' as a learning experience to do with scripting/coding the Arma 3 engine.
The base game mode was written by Lystic. I saw some potential to improve it whilst learning along the way. I have changed a LOT of the base code and structure, as you will be able to tell if you go play a round or three.
Battle Royale CQC (Close Quarters Combat) is still set on the island of Altis, but instead of 'Ghost Hotel' location over and over, there are now about 30 different town/city locations that are chosen randomly every round.
The loot spawn system was completely changed/rewritten and I also introduced a new loot table with 5.56 to 5.58 caliber weapons as well as a bunch of VANILLA items and APEX items.
Each game round consists of a maximum 20 minutes. Broken down to 4 minutes of initial loot time, then the timing routine begins. Each blue circle (game zone) changes every 2 minutes in order to keep the players moving... so players have to be strategic, be observant, etc.
Each kill a player gets they are rewarded with points. If there are more than one player still alive when the zoning timer runs out, the player with the most points wins the round.
Currently to trigger a game round, you need at least 2 players, with a maximum of 32 players. It is a fast paced and rather enjoyable game mode. Waiting in the lobby for a round to start is minimal.
